וִיהִי־מָ֣ה אָר֔וּץ וַיֹּ֥אמֶר ל֖וֹ ר֑וּץ וַיָּ֤רָץ אֲחִימַ֙עַץ֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַכִּכָּ֔ר וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֖ר אֶת־הַכּוּשִֽׁי׃

Mas él respondió:  Sea lo que fuere, yo correré.  Entonces le dijo:  Corre.  Corrió pues Ahimaas por el camino de la llanura, y pasó delante de Cusi.
